	  PE licensure is required to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public. 
	  We want to know that the individuals who are designing the facilities, machinery 
	  and everything else that touches our lives are competent to do so. 
 A license proves that you have met the recognized standard of competence in that field.  
	  Not only does it provide opportunities and respect, it's a credential you'll carry with 
	  you for life.  It’s a license that is nationally recognized and one that will follow you
